The Education and Training Foundation will once more be holding
their annual Summer Conference!
The conference will take place at Mary Ward House on the 5th
July, and will give practitioners from both the Research Development Fellowship
and the Exploratory Research in maths and English Programmes a platform to
present the work they have been refining, in collaboration with SUNCETT, over
the last year.
The ETF and SUNCETT have always been committed to providing
practitioners the time, space and opportunity needed to improve teaching
practice and make significant impacts upon the Further, Adult and Vocational
Education Sector. Our practitioners have made substantial strides in the
development of their research and we look forward to seeing them showcase their
posters and presentations to their colleagues and other sector professionals. Mary
Anne Bathmaker will also be in attendance,
discussing her experience and direct engagement with FE related research.
The continual endeavour to make long-lasting and effective
changes to our sector is as important as it has ever been. As practitioners we
have a professional responsibility to ensure our learners and colleagues
benefit from relevant and up-to-date research-informed practice. We feel
confident that the work of our practitioners will help pave the way for improved
teaching, learning and assessment strategies and we cannot wait to see them exhibit
their ideas at Mary Ward House this July.
We look forward to seeing you in London!
